Outside a makeshift prison in Suruc, a Turkish town across the border from Kobani, Syria, family members worry about their detained relatives on Oct. 18, 2014. Turkish authorities detained several hundred men who crossed with their families from Kobani over a week ago. They are accused of being members of YPG, an offshoot of the PKK which Turkish authorities consider a terrorist group.
